Reed Captures Inaugural AMA Pro Motocross Championship

As threatening skies moved into Budds Creek MX Park and rain began to fall at the Monster Energy Motocross National, Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki's Chad Reed, of Australia, endured the conditions to take his fifth overall victory of the season as well as capture his first AMA Pro Motocross championship with two rounds remaining. Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki's Jake Weimer, of Rupert, Idaho, grabbed the 250 Class win for his third victory of the season.

Reed Makes It Three-in-a-Row at Unadilla Retro National

A buzz was in the air as 40 years of motocross was celebrated at Unadilla Valley Sports Center for round nine of the 2009 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship and the Unadilla Retro Motocross National. With championships in sight, Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki's Chad Reed, of Australia, and Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki's Christophe Pourcel, of France, captured the overall victories in the 450 and 250 Class, respectively.

Desalle got his first one

The FIM Motocross World Championship is rapidly approaching its conclusion and the thirteenth round of fifteen was played out across the quick inclines of Loket for the Grand Prix of Czech Republic as LS Honda’s Clement Desalle earned victory for the very first time in the premier MX1 category, giving the CRF450R its maiden winner’s trophy of the 2009 campaign. The Belgian visited the podium for the fifth time this season but on this occasion claimed the top step with results of 2nd and 1st in the two motos.

Desalle takes his first ever GP win at GP of Czech Republic – Paulin back to victory in MX2

Taking victory at the Casino Bonver GP of Czech Republic Desalle conquered his first ever GP success while Paulin came back to victory after Faenza.
It was a tough day for the leaders of both Championships Cairoli and Musquin. The first struggled with a severe cold and ended fourth overall while Musquin’s bike had a problem in heat two, with the Frenchman pulling out with no points

A tough but good day for the leaders

Ken De Dycker created a memorable home event for Teka Suzuki World MX1 at the GP Limburg, the Grand Prix of Belgium and the12th round of 15 in the MX1 World Championship.
The 25 year old registered his first victory of the season and also the maiden 2009 triumph for the works RM-Z450 at Lommel in front of 28,000 spectators. Team mate Steve Ramon also had a good meeting and was fourth in the final classification.

De Dycker takes first season win at home – Musquin makes victorious comeback in MX2

Taking his first season win at home De Dycker moved up to fourth in the Championship while Musquin won a wet MX2 Grand Prix to build on his Championship lead.
Nagl and Cairoli completed the MX1 podium while Belgians Roelants and Verbruggen were second and third overall in MX2.

Desalle takes maiden home pole - Musquin owns MX2 class

Suzuki's Steve Ramon made a great comeback after Valkenswaard’s neck injury as he stormed to second while team mate De Dycker crashed. Coppins ended third.
In the MX2 class Guarneri and Goncalves completed the top three but both were distant from Musquin.
Taking victory in the penultimate moto of the FIM Veterans’ World Cup, Nilsson wrapped up the Cup victory ahead of tomorrow’s final heat.

Reed Extends Points Lead with Second Victory of the Season at Spring Creek

The second half of the 2009 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship got underway on Saturday as Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki's Chad Reed, of Australia, took his second win of the season at the Honda Motocross National from Spring Creek MX. Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki's Ryan Dungey, of Belle Plaine, Minn., completed an overall sweep for the Suzuki stable, winning the overall in front of his hometown fans in the 250 Class.

Ken Roczen wins his first MX-Masters overall

One time out of eight the German Masters series moves out of Germany for the Austrian round. Probably a tribute to KTM as a series sponsor. The track at Ried is not far away from the KTM factory and is the layout is one of the best of the Masters series.
