Former Cardinals all-star Jim Edmonds was the ceremonial Grand Marshal.

Another 250 class victory for Dean Wilson

A massive crowd of 51,509 fans filled Cowboys Stadium on Saturday night for the 13th stop of the 17-race Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship. Continuing his successful rookie season, American Honda’s Trey Canard, of Shawnee, Okla., grabbed his third win of the season with a wire-to-wire victory.

Xavier Boog takes the leadership of the French Elite series

Beating twice fellow countrymen Gregory Aranda during the third round of the French Elite Championship in Pernes, Xavier Boog had another good day and is now leading the series. Team KRT enjoyed another good performance in Spain where Jonathan Barragan claimed his third consecutive double win in his national series, so the team is now leading both championships.

Dean Wilson wins lits class

A huge crowd of 45,217 Canadian fans filled the Rogers Centre on Saturday night for the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, and its lone international race of the 2011 season. The 12th stop of the 17-race championship was host to even more of a shakeup in the championship standings as Rockstar/Makita Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey, of Belle Plaine, Minn., captured his first win of the season.

Harry Kullas owns MX2 class

LS Honda Racing’s Ken De Dycker scored his first overall win of the 2011 season at the opening round of the Dutch Motocross Championship in Gemert, North Brabant, close to famous GP tracks Lierop and Valkenswaard. True to form the 26-year old Belgian dominated all day long by qualifying fastest by more than two seconds and claiming two undisputed wins. One week after his comeback victory at the Maxxis British Championship in Little Silver Shaun Simpson again showed great speed. The MX1 rookie guided his Honda CRF450 to second in qualifying practice but was unlucky in both races.

Ryan Sipes Races to His First Career Victory in the Eastern Regional Supercross Lites Class

Tonight, 60,789 fans greeted the 10th race of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, in Indianapolis as Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto, of Poulsbo, Wash., won his fifth race of the season. In the Eastern Regional Supercross Lites class, DNA Shred Sticks/Yamaha’s Ryan Sipes, of Ekron, Ken., captured his first career victory.

First lites class success for Blake Baggett

Kawasaki's Ryan Villopoto became the first rider since 2003 to race for back-to-back victories at the Daytona Supercross at Daytona International Speedway. The night led to Villopoto stretching his points lead to 23 over second place in the championship standings.

Mike Alessi crashing out

Red Bull/KTM rider Andrew Short put together another solid performance finishing 6th at the eighth round of the AMA Supercross Series at the Georgia Dome.
Short had a decent day turning the 10th fastest lap time in the afternoon qualifying. His teammate, Mike Alessi, was able to qualify 12th fastest. As a result both KTM riders were placed in the first heat.
