Ben Townley back in Europe

Team CLS Pro Monster Energy Kawasaki Pro Circuit entered his last race before the GP season starts in two weeks time, but was not really expecting rain and mud on the southern track of Pernes les Fontaine near Carpentras. It was a good training session for both MX2 riders, and Tommy Searle had the honors of the podium with a third position in race two.

DNF at round eleven

After winning his heat race by almost thirteen seconds San Manel Yamaha’s James Stewart was unable to toast a home victory at the Jacksonville Municipal Stadium on Saturday night. An incident through the rhythm section after the first turn in the Main Event left the former champion unable to continue and nursing a sore back.

Short Ties KTM Best Finish Record

All three Red Bull/KTM Factory Team riders placed inside the top ten at the ninth round of the AMA Supercross Series held at Daytona International Speedway. In addition to the positive team result, team rider Andrew Short's 4th place finish tied the best overall finish record for any KTM rider in Supercross history. His teammates, Ken Roczen and Mike Alessi finished 8th and 10th respectively.

Due to an unfortunate date clash riders and teams were forced to make a hard choice between the Valence International in France and Mantova Starcross in Italy. However the majority of top riders, including LS Honda Racing riders Shaun Simpson and Ken De Dycker, will head to Valence this weekend for their first pre-season meeting.

Ken Roczen close to the podium

Red Bull/KTM rider Andrew Short earned his fourth consecutive top ten finish with a 9th place result at round four of the AMA Supercross Series held in Oakland, CA.
The threat of rain lingered around all day and eventually made its way to the Oakland Coliseum as night began to fall. As Short lined up for his heat, the rain had seized for a moment giving the crowd a perfect view of Short as he pinned it down the start straight to come out 2nd off the gate in his heat race.

No US SX racing yet

Sitting out the long cold European winter is tough on any of the elite MX riders and Red Bull Teka KTM's Tony Cairoli, the current MX1 world champion is no exception.
