Twenty-year old Ray Rowson, who has recently joined CCM’s factory MX team has suffered a pre-season injury that could rule him out of action for the next three to four month period.

The youngster from Shrewsbury injured his right knee during testing in Belgium earlier this week, and whilst Rowson never actually crashed, the incident was enough to cause serious damage to the joint.

Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, heads back to Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., this Saturday with JGRMX/Yamaha/Toyota’s Josh Grant, of Riverside, Calif., and Rockstar/Makita Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey, Belle Plaine, Minn., leading the AMA Supercross and AMA Supercross Lites class championships, respectively.

The round of the MX3 Motocross World Championship scheduled on 10 May in Alhama de Murcia, Spain, is cancelled. The round scheduled on 7 June in Faenza, Italy, is replaced by Holice, Czech Republic.

The round scheduled on 14 June in Bulgaria will take place in Troyan (instead of Samokov). Finally, the round scheduled on 5 July in Holice, Czech Republic, is replaced by Faenza, Italy.

It may be strange for a 23 year young man to be referred to as a veteran, but in world championship motocross terms, Tanel Leok's symbolic beard is gaining in length. Since he rolled his first metres in the heady world of full-blown world championship motocross racing at only 15 years of age, a lot of water has flown under the bridge. The Estonian Express anno 2008 has a good number of racing years under his belt, and after aafter enjoying an uninterrupted and injury-free period of preparation leading into the 2008 season, Tanel harboured high hopes of finally finally breaking through in 2008.

For the first time motocross riders will be able to attend a training school at the tracks where the Amateur Nationals are held, headed up by two time Motocross World Champion and Hall of Famer Trampas Parker.
