Belgium Honda Team continiues MX1 effords

LS Honda Racing is delighted to announce that Jonathan Barragan will join the team for their 2012 FIM MX1 World Championship campaign. The 26-year old is Spain’s greatest ever motocross hero. Jonathan has 6 MX1 GP wins under his belt and boasts 3 Spanish MX1 titles, he collected two podium finishes and finished the GP season eighth overall. Belgian star Ken De Dycker, 27, will be back on the CRF450R for another assault on the pinnacle of motocross racing. Ken is a former German and British MX1 champ who previously racked up 5 MX1 GP victories. With De Dycker and Barragan the Honda Europe supported squad of team owner Steven Lettani presents their strongest rider line up ever!

Cairoli and Nagl not at the gate at Fermo

Following Tony Cairoli’s MX1 World Championship title last week in Gaildorf, Italy, it was a difficult weekend for the Red Bull Teka KTM Factory Racing Team at the final round of the season in Fermo Italy. This was capped when Max Nagl sustained a wrist fracture that put paid to his chances of finishing in the top three for the season.

First season DNF after big crash at Gaildorf

Monster Energy Yamaha’s Steven Frossard had a clear message for his team on Sunday evening after the Grand Prix of Europe: “get the bike ready for Fermo”. The Frenchman who is currently second in the FIM MX1-GP Motocross World Championship standings had to suffer his first DNF of an incredible rookie season in the premier class of the sport and on the factory YZ450FM after a first moto crash at Gaildorf saw him taken to hospital for a precautionary check.

Half of the team confirmed

Shoulder Injury not healed yet

Suzuki Europe MX2 were dealt a heavy blow only days before its second home Grand Prix of the FIM Motocross World Championship when Valentin Teillet was diagnosed with another crack in the shoulder blade he fractured at the start of the season.
