The Kawasaki Racing Team is delighted to announce that French rising star Gautier Paulin will join the team next season for his first ever MX1 GP campaign.
A native of Draguignan in Provence, Gautier has been one of the leading contenders in the MX2 GP series for the last four seasons and has been a regular face on the podium. Gautier, who led the 2009 MX2 World Championship for Kawasaki before injuries dropped him to third of the series, has won at least one World Championship race and scored countless podiums in recent years.

Who will be at St. Jean Angely?

The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) is pleased to announce the members of the U.S. team that will compete at the FIM Motocross of Nations, Sept. 17-18, at Saint Jean D'Angely, France. The 2011 team will include Rockstar Makita Suzuki's Ryan Dungey, Monster Energy Kawasaki's Ryan Villopoto and Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Blake Baggett.

Spaniard to Monster Energy Yamaha for last three rounds

Spain’s first ever FIM Motocross World Champion, Carlos Campano, is to be drafted into the factory Monster Energy Yamaha team to replace David Philippaerts who will miss the remaining three rounds of the 2011 MX1-GP series after undergoing surgery on his broken wrists this week.

Strong Team for home event

The French Federation just announced this weekend in Loket, during the Czech Republic Grand Prix, the selected team by the president of the Federation for the Motocross of Nations which will take place in Saint Jean d’Angely (France). The team will be the same as two years ago in Italy, with Marvin Musquin, Steven Frossard and Gautier Paulin who will aim to get another victory ten years after Namur.

Both wrists broken after practice crash

Monster Energy Yamaha rider David Philippaerts is likely to miss the rest of the 2011 FIM Motocross World Championship after crashing during training yesterday (Wednesday) at a track in Germany in preparation for the Grand Prix of Czech Republic this weekend. The 2008 MX1-GP world champion has broken both wrists. The 27 year old Italian underwent surgery for several hours Wednesday evening.
