At the final round of the German ADAC-MX-Masters at Höchstädt KTM factory rider Rui Goncalves showed off a very interesting new KTM - and raced it to a second overall position! While the 2010 bikes are already in production it seems that KTM will shake off the traditional linkless PSD rear suspension for a linkage version for the 2010 factory team and the 2011 production bikes.

Also the all new engine has some major updates. Word is the MX1 bike will have 350 cc, electric start and fuel injection. The latest factory entrant Mike Alessi will ride the bike for the early season pre GP races in Europe and the first couple of GPs. After that he will move back to the US in May to compete the outdoor nationals within the new KTM US factory team (that will be directly related to Austria) alongside Tommy Searle who rides the 250 class.
