As one of the first 2011 models the new 450 Husqvarna has been seen on hte track. At Malpensa in Italy some tests were done with an almost final version of the motocross bike. Factory rider Alex Salvini did some laps on the all new bike.

As a result of the BMW cooperation (The German company bought Husqvarna two years ago) the BMW 450 enduro engine has been placed into a new Husqvana chassis.
The race version is scheduled to be used for the first time at April 25th with test rider Andrea Bartolini and at the MX3 GP in Bulgaria at May 23rd with Alex Salvini.
