From France to Germany
At the first weekend of May Dennis Schröter raced both Friday and Saturday at two completely different events. The first one was the traditional International MX at St. Austeberthe in France while on Sunday the team moved to the second Round of the German XC Series. This was an Enduro style track where the riders had to race on for 2 hours.
See what Dennis Schröter had to say about his races:
France (3-4, 3rd overall)
"Weíve raced here last year as well, and even though I donít really like the track, I always seem to do good. The first start was bad and I had problems with passing on the slippery and dusty track, but moto 2 and 3 went a lot better. 3rd overall is nice and Iím pretty happy with the way I rode. I had no arm Ė pump, and only Pichon, Leuret and myself were constantly doing lap - times under 2 minutes. I wish we had more races like that without the pressure of a championship."
Walldorf (GER) 6th:
"When I walked the track in the morning, I already had my doubts. The tight track through the trees with rocks and roots isnít really my favourite, still my goal was a podium finish for sure.
Unfortunately early in the race Musquin struggled on an uphill right in front of me and lost control of his BMW. He buried me under his bike and I already lost a lot of time in this incident. On top of that I was in a lot of pain from my shoulder and my foot afterwards and 6th. overall was all I could do."
