Lars Oldekamp back at the races - Dennis Schröter out of luck

Lars Oldekamop
After some injury- plagued weeks both Team Silent Sport Team riders are back where they belong. Dennis Schröter decided to race the Dutch championship at Oss where he arrived with a 4th position in the points standings. Lars Oldekamp made his comeback in ADAC Youngster class at Holzgerlingen to get back to his race speed after a decent result at the European championships at Denmark the week before.
Lars Oldekamp:
Itís really getting better every time I race. I qualified ok, even though gap to first was still pretty big. The first start was horrible and then I wanted too much too quick. I crashed a couple of times and finally gave in. My second start was much better. The top guys passed me quickly, but the difference in speed wasnít that big anymore. I should have finished 5th but made a mistake that allowed Olsen to get by in the end. Iím positive that my speed will still improve until the final round in Höchstädt.
Dennis Schröter:
Iím furious!!
I was really looking forward to racing here. After a decent qualification I felt that I could even improve in the races. My first start was ok, and I was 4th or 5th for a few laps. After a mistake I lost a few places and had to regroup in 12th position. I had already worked my way back up to 7th when a broken intake rubber caused my carb to jump off. To ruin my weekend completely my battery died on the starting line of the second moto.
Normally Iím not happy when races have to be cancelled, but now without the race in Berghem
