Oldekamp keeps series lead in Bavaria

Lars Oldekamp
The German rider only team Silent Sport travelled all the way to the Munich airport for the second round of the ADAC MX Masters. Lars Oldekamp enterd the hard an rocky track as the Youngster series leader but handicaped with a shoulder injury.
Hendrik Nolting (Team Manager):
Lars cracked his shoulder-blade 10 days ago in Rhenen (NL) and hadn’t been on his bike since then. Luckily he became a green light from his doctors for Freising, so it was in his hands to minimize the points-damage in the championship. We have never expected a result like this and he earned our deepest respect for ignoring the pain and just thinking forward. He never gave in and was always in close distance to the leader.

Michael also had a good weekend. He messed up his qualification but then won the last chance race with style. His goal was to score points and only a loose radiator plug spoiled his chances to do so in both motos. His riding was good though and he can go into the next races with confidence.
Michael Kaussen
Confidence is what Dennis I missing right now. He had a weekend to rather forget quickly. Only in free practice he was fast but after a bad qualifying session he never found his speed again.
On top of that he crashed in the first lap of moto 2 and had to stop in the pits for fresh goggles, restarting the race more than half a lap behind the field.
