Team Silent Sport at Wolgast

Dennis Schröter
The 5th round of the German Open championship was hels at Wolgast in the eastern part of Germany. The sandy track suited Team Silent Sport rider Dennis Schröder well and the result was a podium after two strong motos finishing 2-3. Young Michael Kaussen is improving constantly and got a 21st overall after finishing 18th and 20th.
Dennis Schröter:
This really was a fun race, even though I couldnít take the trophy home this time. Itís no shame to get beaten by Kenny, and Filip showed that the winter training in Lommel paid of, I respect him for his performance today.
I had the Holeshot in race 1 and when Kenny passed me, I tried to keep up with him for a while but I had to give in after 3 laps.
I nearly crashed into my gate in race 2 and just when I pulled back it fellÖ I managed to work myself back into 2nd, but that cost a lot of energy, so Filip was able to pass me back.

Michael Kaussen:

Even though I had hoped for a top 15 overall, I canít be too disappointed, because I was reasonably happy with my riding. This was a good training for the next round of the MX Masters in Tensfeld this coming weekend, and if I can manage to improve just a little bit I should be scoring points in both motos.
