After spending two years as a Suzuki facory rider Mike Alessi recently signed a contract with KTM Austria.Even without an official confirmation it seems like there will be 5 top MX1 pilots riding the 2010 GP campaign. At least the first few races since Alessi plans to join the US outdoor series once it started in Mai.

Another special part of the deal is that Alessi will race a 350cc KTM starting with some European Supercross races this winter. The US boy from Victorville Cal. will help to develop the all new KTM which will feature also a linkage system for the rear shock. Teh 21 year old will be alongside Max Nagl, Rui Goncalves and world champion Tony Cairoli who might also ride the 350cc bike under the KTM MX1 de Carli factory team tent.
The fifth KTM rider wil be Kevin Strijbos from Belgium who will ride for a new team run by George Jobe.
